ProZim is an non-profit, non-political, non-religious organization located in Switzerland. Its aim is to support educaational development through direct collaboration with institutions and individudals in East Africa at minimal administrative costs. ProZim was founded in December 2002. Since 2003, donations to the organization are tax-exempt. ProZim takes its name from the Zimlati Primary School, situated 30 km from Mombasa, the first school profiting from the program.
