Results
Since 2003 approximately 45 teachers from nearly 30 schools in the Coastal region of Kenya have been trained. 90% of all trained teachers have received certificates after successful implementation of the environmental projects in the schools. The certificate is signed by the Education officer of Mombasa District. In the meantime, environmental clubs have been set up at many schools and the teachers continue to carry out environmental projects with the students each term.
